Service Description

Have you ever wondered how to practice yoga seated? Or maybe you've done some chair yoga, but would like to go more in depth to a therapeutic yoga approach and learn to adapt the movements to you? In this workshop we will go over a few yoga poses and work on adapting them! In this self inquiry practice trying out different ways to build strength from a seated practice. Online workshops allow you to set up your space designed for you! Beginner friendly and adapted for various injuries limiting mobility such as spinal cord injury, chronic illness, and glaucoma. This is a trauma informed class using invitational but directive language. Time will be left at end for relaxation/savasana and questions. After sign up, option to email in any requests for poses to learn or questions to cover! How to prepare for class : Steady and secure chair. Zoom class camera ready, I suggest ear buds in to improve audio quality especially if practicing in louder spaces. Optional journal to take notes or for self inquiry questions. Optional props: ball for rolling, folded towel, block.
